Gracie’s senior session was such a fun one! She’s a senior at Cosby High School and part of the physical therapy program at the Chesterfield Career and Technical Center. Her goal is to become a physical therapist, and she’s already getting a head start on responsibility—she’s been working at Kline’s, the best spot for ice cream, for months now!
She also recently got into James Madison University, following in her mom’s footsteps! She’s so excited to be a future Duke, and I know she’s going to do amazing things there.
Not only is Gracie incredibly hardworking and driven, but she is also absolutely stunning—inside and out! Her confidence and kindness made this session such a joy. When we started planning, she knew she wanted to shoot at Maymont, and I couldn’t agree more—it’s the perfect backdrop! We made sure to include the pillars and the gardens, giving her a mix of classic and natural settings. Gracie’s outfit choices were timeless and elegant: a navy blue dress, a white dress, and a beautiful floral dress. Each look suited her so well and complemented the setting beautifully.
Beyond school and future plans, Gracie loves spending time with family and friends, playing volleyball, going to the beach, swimming, shopping, and volunteering. And here’s something fun—we go to the same church, The Chapel, but didn’t realize it until we were planning her session! Such a small world.
I’m always so grateful for referrals, and Gracie heard about me from another amazing client. It means the world to have people share their experiences! Gracie, you were an absolute joy to photograph, and I can’t wait to see all the incredible things you do at JMU and beyond!
